What is Kupid AI?
Kupid AI bets everything on immersion and the richness of its characters. Instead of starting from a blank page, you browse a catalog of AI companions with varied worlds and backstories, then build a relationship that grows through your conversations. The app excels at roleplay: the scenarios are detailed, the characters stay consistent, and your virtual girlfriend gladly plays along with the narrative. Voice chat and animated avatars add presence to the experience. We do wish the interface felt a bit more polished, and image generation sits a notch below the competition, but for anyone who's after embodied characters and stories worth living, Kupid AI does a remarkable job and earns its place at second in our comparison.

Kupid AI pricing and plans
Kupid AI offers limited free access, enough to test the vibe and the quality of its characters. It no longer sells a monthly plan: Pro costs $12.99 for one week (a single payment that doesn't renew) or $179 for a full year, which works out to about $14.92/month. Ultra costs $24.99/week or $299/year. Paying removes message limits and unlocks voice and image generation. Treat the weekly pass as an extended trial; if you plan to stay, the yearly plan is the one that makes sense, especially if roleplay and narrative immersion are your top priorities.
